Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo on Mt. Pelio, that in central Greece located. Mt. Pelio is one of the most famous Mountains in Greece as it is considered as the summer home of the Olympian Gods.

Time

Early in the morning. During the night before my visit was actually snowing. There was enough fog to allow me during that time of day to take a shot.

Lighting

I love foggy days because the light is always and everywhere soft. You don't need to wait till dusk to take a shot, when there is fog you can actually shoot all day.

Equipment

My camera "Fujifilm x-t3 with the 14mm fuji on it and my tripod, nothing else was necessary.

Inspiration

When you walk in a place like this everything around you inspires you! Mountains don't need anything special, they are majestic always!

Editing

I didn't do anything that worth to mention. Perhaps I increased a little bit the whites, everything else is just as I saw them.

In my camera bag

I try always to carry with me all my equipment. I don't like the idea not having something that I need with me. That means, tripods, all my lenses, two cameras, filters and staff that sometimes I use, for example flashlight, extra batteries etc..

Feedback

As I said before, on the Mountains there is no need for special effects. When the weather conditions are good, just go out there and shoot. You will find always something interest when you walk in a forest for example:)
