This photo was taken in Aigues-Mortes in the Camargue in France during the Gardians Festival in October.Time
This was taken mid-morning while the gardians were corralling the bulls to take into tonwn.Lighting
No special lighting.Equipment
Canon 6D Mark2, Canon 70-300 lens.Inspiration
This was a photography trip arranged by CreateAway. Trying to find a space through the fence that didn't get you covered in mud and water was not easy (and I wasn't very successful!) I thought that the approaching riders surrounding the bulls as they drove them through the water would make a good picture. I decided it looked better in black and white with no colours to distract.Editing
Crop, desaturate, sharpening, some spectator removal. In my camera bag
Can 6D Mark 2, Canon T2i converted to infrared, various Canon lenses.Feedback
The Gardians Festival in Aigues-Mortes is a great place to capture some amazing images. You have to take a little bit of risk to get the best shots.
