Location
This picture was taken in my backyard. I love playing with my backyard birds. They never disappoint and always willing to help me perfect my inflight photography.Time
I was put early am but was cold and not much activity. So I went back inside. I came back out a little after 12pm There was more activity. So I sat in my chair and watched the flight patterns of them coming to the feeder. I picked a spot and started shooting.Lighting
I wasn't that happy with the lighting but I like the background. So I adjust my shooting direction a little bit to get what I wanted. Over all I am pleased with the picture!.Equipment
This was taken by a Canon 5D Mark IV Sigma 150-600mm C Lens. It was handheld.Inspiration
I wanted to practice my inflight bird photography and panning techniques. This group never disappoints. After taking several pictures I went inside to see what they looked like. I saw this one and fell in love with it.Editing
The only post processing I did was to slightly darken the background little and crop it a bit.In my camera bag
My main equipment that I use is my Canon 5D Mark IV and Sigma 150-600mm C Lens. I also use a Tamaron 1.4 teleconverter. Other Lenses that I use are Canon 600mm F/4 , Sigma 105 F/2.8 Macro Lens and A Tamaron 10-24mm F/3.5-4.5 Wide angle lens. I have a gitzo tripod and wimberly head for the 600mm F/4.Feedback
My advise is to keep trying and don't give up. Practice and patience are my big secrets. Go have fun and enjoy!
