Location
The picture was taken in my backyard on top of a hanging basket.Time
It was taken late morning / early afternoon.Lighting
The weather was slightly overcast. Which was perfect for what I wanted.Equipment
I equipment used was Canon 5D Mark IV camera and a Sigma 105f/2.8 Macro Lens . No flash or Tripod were used.Inspiration
I have seen pictures of this fly taken by other photographers and want to try to get one myself. After several failed attempts I finally got it.Editing
The only thing I did was crop the picture. In my camera bag
I usually Carry my Canon 5D Mark IV camera and my main lenses are: Sigma 150-600mm C Lens, Sigma 105 Macro Lens and a Tamron 10-24mm Lens.Feedback
Know the subject and its habits. This particular species likes an open perch with a view. Patience and don't rush the shot. I chose the best angle and background to get the best capture.
