I've seen and photographed them before. But wanted to try it with a macro lens instead of my telephoto.

While it was getting dark, I was playing with different angles of the bridge.

Saw this fly land on my hanging basket. Grabbed my camera switched lenses and got a quick picture before it flew off.

Heading back to my truck I spotted him on the tree. Waited for the pose I wanted then snapped away.

Was photographing a Juvie Baltimore Oriole when I noticed this Swallowtail on the flower. I got a couple of pictures before it flew off.

I've trying for awhile to get a flight shot of one. I finally got one that I like and is sharp!
