Location
These are lakes called Savica in the city of Zagreb in Croatia. The lakes were formed when a flood embankment was built on the Sava River, and the bends of the river cut off by the embankment became lakes. The area of the lake has been declared a bird sanctuary.Time
It was early morning at sunrise at 6:44.Lighting
Lighting is all natural.Equipment
Camera used was Olympus E-520 with Olympus Zuiko Digital Zoom f: 2.8-3.5 12-60 mm @ 25 mm handheld.Inspiration
The difference in air and water temperature creates a wonderful haze and creates a beautiful atmosphere with soft light. Enough to take a nice photo.Editing
Only basic settings. A bit of contrast has been added, corrected shadows and highlights and sharpness as I shoot in RAW (ORF) format. In my camera bag
I try to take as little equipment as possible, which depends on whether I go by car or on foot and on which location I go to and what I expect. I usually carry an Olympus E-3 and E-520 with 12-60mm and 50-200mm lenses, and in addition a 2X teleconverter and 50mm Macro. Sometimes I also take an f: 8 old Zuiko 500mm reflex lens.Feedback
