Due to the time it is taken the light should be the worst but in this photo it was of great advantage.Equipment

This praying mantis was a kind of aggressive in her defence posture and good looking.Editing
As usual, only very essential processing in Photo Shop with Topaz filters. Added some details, sharpening, and contrast. That's all.In my camera bag
It depends. Sometimes I lug all of my stuff if I'm with car. More often I carry only what I expect to need. One camera body Olympus E-3 or E-520 and lenses 12-60 and 50-200 ( 24-120 and 100-400 equivalent ), tele converter 2x and 50 mm Macro. Sometimes Olympus reflex (mirror) 500 mm ( 1000 mm equivalent ) f:8. goes with me.Feedback
Opportunity for every picture is different. One has to see the opportunity and take advantages of it and try to take the best of it. All depend of your ability to recognize the scene in front of you and use your equipment at hand.
