Captured: Lighthouse grounds, Fire Island, NY.

Pictured here is a view of Long Island's Fire Island Lighthouse sitting in the shadow of Comet Neowise (a.k.a.: C-2020 F3 (NEOWISE). I've actually been trying to capture a shot of the comet for the past week or so, but have been a bit unlucky due to clouds obscuring its view on my other attempts.

I'm still hoping to chase it a bit more, as the clouds moved in on me again shortly after this shot. I'd really like to capture one from about 200-400mm to help show the comet more prominently in the sky.

If it doesn't work out, at least I had this one opportunity to see it before it fades from our view.
