This was actually my first experience photographing someone that was not family lol. It was part of a Fujifilm sponsored photo walk. There was maybe a dozen other photographers, but they were all sort of grouped together getting the same shot. I opted to break away from the pack to get a different angle.Equipment
This was shot with the Fujifilm X-Series XH-1 and Fujifilm XF 56mm f/1.2 lens.Inspiration
As I mentioned, it was for a Fujifilm-sponsored photo walk, and my first time photographing a model that wasn’t family. The beautiful dancer/model looked very statuesque in her form, making me think of the beautiful Greek statues of old. I wanted something resembling that beauty.Editing
Fuji has wonderful film simulations. I’m absolutely in love with their black & white Acros. I tend to shoot with my settings and film simulations I ultimately want the photo processed in. Other than a bit of tweaking for highlights in the raw file, this is essentially straight out of camera. In my camera bag
I tend to always carry 2 camera bodies with me. Currently the Fuji XT-3, and XH-1, with Fuji XF 23mm f/1.4, and XF 56mm f/1.2 lenses. Fiji’s mirrorless systems are pretty compact to allow me to carry more fear in a small camera bag.Feedback
