The movie Boxtrolls had recently come out, and seemed to be gaining popularity. My son loves to dress up in costumes, so it was an easy shoot to prepare for.Editing
A little tweak in color and sharpness. I try to get most of it camera if possible.In my camera bag
I always have my XT-1, 23mm, 35mm, and 56mm lenses close by. I've never been much into zooms, and love my primes. Fuji makes some amazing lenses. I also carry a flash, currently a Cheetah V850, along with a rogue flash bender, and color correction filters for the flash, and my iPad mini.Feedback
Keep it simple, and don't try to start out with complicated light setups. At first I started with just the main light. After I figured out lighting for it, I saw that I needed a bit of light on the right side (my son's left), so I added a second flash.
