Amazing! Just started photography and low light has been the most challenging and the most fun to learn about. Images like this make me want to learn more about it faster.

i like the way you did the sky making the clouds appear to be moving over the small town.

Location
This shot was taken in Haarlem , the Netherlands. The windmill is called De Adriaan, and it was originally built in 1779. In 1932 it was burned down, and later in 2002 was rebuilt, as it is a symbol of Haarlem.Time
It was shot early in the morning during sunrise, my favourite time of the day for shooting, as the sky can be very colorful.Lighting
For an interesting sky look for a day with a few clouds, but not overcast, so that the sunlight can hit them from below.Equipment
I am shooting with a Nikon D750 and a Tamron 15-30 f/2.8 on a tripod to get the long exposure. I also used a 6 stop ND filter.Inspiration
I wanted to get this part of the city with good reflections and a great sky. This was one of the best skies I had during that year.Editing
I am always post processing my shots in Lightroom and then Photoshop for corrections. I preferred some more cold tones in order to get a better contrast with the warmer colours of the clouds due to the sunlight. In my camera bag
I always carry my Nikon D750, a Tamron 15-30, a Nikon 50mm 1.8 and a Nikon AF-D 80-200 2.8. This lens is a bit old, but sharp as a knife!Feedback
Choose a day where your sky has about 50% clouds and as low wind as possible, in order to get the best reflections.
