The photo was taken on a very nice autumn day in Hanover, Germany.Time
It was late afternoon and we took portraits next to the historical Opera.Lighting
It was just natural light – that's it.Equipment
Nikon D700 with the AF-S 85mm 1:1.8G. So we didn't use any other stuff.Inspiration
In fact I only wanted to photograph really simple portraits in the city after several months. Urban locations offers many great sceneries and features like bokeh lights and reflections. Even if that's not relevant for this photo.Editing
For RAW Processing and color grading Capture One was used. Other things like removal of blemish and dodge & burn were done in Photoshop.In my camera bag
Next to the Nikon D810 and the D700, there are the Prime lenses from 35mm up to 85mm.Feedback
Natural light is great for that, especially outdoor. Especially when the model holds her hands above her head, you should pay attention to the fact that she tilts her upper body a little bit backwards in order to get her face too dark.
