This picture was taken last week in the attic of my father's house. They are his hands that hold one more of his models in construction. He started with this hobby more than 70 years ago, when he was only 8.
Today, every Friday, he meets with other lovers of static modeling, in his attic, to share his knowledge with those who have just started and continue learning from each of them. Each model is the representation of an airplane, civil or military, which existed and from which everything possible is investigated regarding its history.
The model of the photograph is a Curtiss Helldiver, built in the United States of America during World War II and, subsequently, used by the French Naval Air Force in Indochina in 1952.
Everything is History. It is important to remember not to make the same mistakes. No to war, Yes to Peace.
