At the point where the rough and wild Pacific Ocean meets the coast of Vancouver Island wildlife is thriving. After a little bit of climbing, we reached the coastline. I started immediately observing a group of Black Oystercatchers. They tried to find food between sharp rocks and heavy wave breakings. At one point I spotted a lonely bird, which held food in his beak. Suddenly a wave broke right behind him. The bird stayed calm and continued looking for food. This harsh condition evolves even tougher animals.
