At the point where the rough and wild Pacific Ocean meets the coast of Vancouver Island wildlife is thriving. After a little bit of climbing, we reached the coastline. I started immediately observing a group of Black Oystercatchers. They tried to find food between sharp rocks and heavy wave breakings. At one point I spotted a lonely bird, which was looking for food. Suddenly it flew away and landed again. Shortly before it hit the ground, I took this picture. The bird looks like it is hovering in the air, like a Jedi.
