Congrats on your Award, Marie! I think there is some kind of error on the bottom right. Looks like a stitching error. Should be fixed quick in Lr or Ps. Cheers, Martin

Location
This photo was taken in the Drakensberg Mountains, in South Africa.Time
We got up in the dark to walk up to this pool area so that we could be there for the early morning sunrise. It was nice to see the little bit of cloud floating around the top of the peak, it added to the photograph.Lighting
The sun had come up about 20 mins when this shot was taken. It has come high enough to light most of the mountain and is less orange than some earlier photographs.Equipment
This was taken with a canon 5D mark iv, with a 24-70 lens.Inspiration
We had scouted the area the day before and thought it would make a great photo with some morning light on it. In the evening the water was quite rough but we were lucky that the early morning was still, which gave the water the stillness we needed for the reflection.Editing
Not much, I use Lightroom, so used some shadow lightening and some contrast, a touch of vibrance. In my camera bag
I travel a lot, and I am a granny, so, my camera bag has to be fairly compact. My general bag would have a canon 5d iv, 100-400, 24-70, 100 Macro. I will also carry lots extra batteries and cards. Some extra filters, ND and Lee system, little and big stoppers. On my camera strap, I have a cleaning cloth in a neat little container and a remote, also in a neat container, so I always have them with me.Feedback
The Drakensbergs have endless opportunities for photographs. The weather is ever changing, from sunny to cloudy to stormy with magnificent, if rather frightening, thunder and lightning, which is coming from four different areas at any one time. So the same photograph can be taken many times and have a completely different outcome. Weather and light are the most important things for outdoor photography.
