Behind The Lens

Location

The photo was taken in North Thailand back in 2016 at sunset.

Time

It was late in the afternoon at sunset.

Lighting

Light was incredible around sunset, with some high cloud hanging around.

Equipment

I used my Canon 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM lens on my Canon 5DMK2 mounted on the tripod. I also used a remote control.

Inspiration

Loved the contrast of colors here. The yellow in the foreground and the red sky was perfect.

Editing

I dont use much time in post processing. My workflow is pretty much done in 2 minutes. I adjust shadows, highlights and colors and do a little sharpening. Also removed CA's and vignetting. Thats it.

In my camera bag

I never leave without my Canon 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM and Canon 5DMK4. Tripod and remote control is also always with me.

Feedback

Be patient. It takes time until the best conditions come together.
