Behind The Lens

Location
This photo was taken off my stateroom balcony of a cruise ship somewhere in the Caribbean Sea.
Time
The photo was taken early in the morning with the sun low in the sky.
Lighting
I think that is what really helped with the image was the early morning sun low in the sky casting the morning light on the Brown Booby and the waves below.
Equipment
Nikon D7200 and a Nikkor 80-400mm telephoto zoom.
Inspiration
I enjoy watching the sea birds as the fly along with the ship on a cruise.
Editing
Some minor adjustments with lightroom.
In my camera bag
I carry a Nikon D7500 and a D7200. I have a nice Nikkor 85-400mm zoom, wide angle 10-24mm, as well as the 16-80 mm zoom. t I carry a Sirui tripod for when I travel. I should use it more than I do.
Feedback
With theses birds I run through literally 100's of shots in a matter of minutes. Then when I get home I delete 99% of them and save just a few that are worth sharing. I like being able to get something unique in the background such as waves or interesting skies.
