The sky was awashed with pink glow as the sun was completely sunk behind me. The light was fleeting away. I planted my tripod at a spot where Thor’s Hammer, most well known hoodoo in Bryce Canyon, was positioned in the center of the frame while letting the prominent rock rise above the rim in the far end of the basin. Then, I patiently waited for the hammer-wielding god to descend upon the army of hoodoos to claim what was his.
