Location
This photo was taken on the Storm Point Trail at Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming.Time
We did this hike early morning (around 8:30 am).Lighting
The morning sun provided really vivid colors.Equipment
Canon SX710 HS compact camera.Inspiration
Marmots are interesting little creatures, these were in the rocks at Storm Point, seemingly keeping track of the passersby, hoping to extract a tasty toll from someone who doesn't know never to feed wildlife.Editing
Contrast adjustmentIn my camera bag
Nikon D5100, an assortment of lenses and filters, spare SD Cards and batteries and the Canon compact camera for hiking (less weight).Feedback
A lot of people are timid about leaving the main roads and parking lots in national parks . . .so get out of your car and onto a trail to see what is really special about these places . . .and carry bear spray!
