Location

This photo was taken South of Rexburg Idaho. I was attending a Primitive Skills Camp on private property. Found this amazing site on a walk in the morning..

Time

This was taken around 7:30 am mountain time.

Lighting

Natural lighting is the best. This was just after sunrise.

Equipment

I have a Canon 70d. The lens was a Canon 28-135mm ultrasonic. Nothing else.

Inspiration

I am a great admirer of the unique. This site was hidden in the trees just off the path I walked in the morning. The colors of the scene and the early morning lighting are what drew me to take the picture. Whoever built this has a great vision of stepping away from the world for a moment.

Editing

Only to sharpen the image a bit. I used Adobe Photoshop. I am still learning the post processing options.

In my camera bag

I try to be prepared! Extra lens, back up battery and SD cards, cleaning equipment. A portable tripod and various filters.

Feedback

Take the time to go off the beaten path, you never know what you might find. The world is a beautiful place with so many treasures to be found.
