sometimes the object in its location stands by itself with no need to enhance it. This particular object is somewhat of an anomaly due to its location. Crane's Beach is known locally for its beautiful white sand and the dunes with beach grass bordering the beach separating it from the parking area. Bushes are few if any. The season, Autumn, cleaned the leaves off leaving a lonely-looking skeleton behind.Equipment
I'm sorry, but, I don't remember. It was either a Canon Power Shot G9 or a Nikon CoolPix S4300. Nothing else.Inspiration
Crane's Beach was the "go to" on the North Shore of Massachusetts when I was in High School. Going there on a "nostalgia trip" I noticed more vegetation than I remembered. When I saw this skeleton of a bush I felt it embodied the solitude of the beach in the fall.Editing
nothing other than standard printing. In my camera bag
I usually load my pockets to go out, but, when I carry a purse, the Nikon is in one of the pockets. When I go for a "photo ops" ride, both the Nikon is with me and the Canon. The Canon is packed with a couple of filters, especially the polarized one, and two lenses, one for extra distance and one for panorama shots.Feedback
Mostly I photograph what pleases my eye in shape, size, color, landscape, seascape, sky and clouds, not often seen animals and anything else that catches my eye, especially if weather or time of day or time of the year could enhance the picture.
