Lighting was a combination of daylight and LED flashlight. Daylight came above through a window and white curtain and LED flashlight from underneath, through semitransparent black acrylic flat plate.Equipment
Camera used was Olympus E-3 with Olympus Zuiko 50 mm f:2 macro lens + Olympus 2x tele converter. Al this on a $100 Chinese carbon fiber (excellent) tripod (ZOMEI Q666).Inspiration
I grow some strawberries in a pots on my balcony and they look so delicious, so I wanted to make some other then just eat them.Editing
I uplifted a shadows a bit and preserved highlights. Contrast and vibrance and some sharpening are added.In my camera bag
Olympus E-3 and E-520 bodies with Zuiko zooms 12-60 and 50-200, 50mm Macro and 2x tele converter. Sometimes I add Olympus old OM reflex lens f:8 500mm and manual f:1.8 50mm OM lens + macro tubes. On hiking trips, I like to go light so one body and zoom 12-60 is enough. I rarely use external flash, so it stays at home.Feedback
When you get an idea try to take more than one picture and than pick one you like the most. Try different positions, light options, angels of view. But this is mostly for controlled situations. Try to get image the best you can so minimal processing will be done in post processing.
