Kevin my 8 year old grandson on an outing to the Vasona Park reservoir where I was exposing him to various wildlife including Geese, ducks, Blue Heron, turtles, lizards and insects as we walked around the lake. I had him bring a small action camera he had gotten for Christmas and was showing him how to use it to capture images of the animals he saw. He was pretty good at spotting critters that were blending into the background. He even saw a Blue Heron take off that I did not see as I was looking in another direction. He yelled out that it was the biggest bird he had ever seen.
