I was stationed in Montana from 1966 to 1971. The state is beautiful and an outdoors-man's heaven, though winters can be brutal. I really enjoyed going to the local Rodeos in the Great Falls area. This was taken in 1967 with a Nikon Photomic T and Ektachrome Slide Film. The lens was not recorded but was most likely the 85-250 f-4.5 lens I had at the time as it was my only telephoto. Of course everything was manual focus, which was always a challenge when doing action shots.

recently the slide was scanned with my Epson Perfection V700 and SilverFast Archive Suite. The file was then processed in PSCS6 Extended using Picture Postcard Workflow.
