Hopewell Furnace. Elverson PA. We are constantly looking for new places to explore. Since we have gone just about everywhere there is to go in NJ that will allow me to take photographs, we end having to go further and further away to find different places. Looking for places to go to in PA, I found this place and it looked really interesting. It was an old Iron Ore Plantation from the mid 1830's. It is in pretty nice shape and the way the village is setup was appealing to me so, I snapped a few shots. This is what I thought was one of the better ones. The place is not big and can be explored in an hour or so. The countryside is pretty and we had a small window before it clouded over. Made a huge difference in the photos to have that warm sun in the shots.
