Not even single streak of cloud

I set up my camera at one of my favorite spots in Cabrillo Beach. Every element was there as the sun was dropping. Except for the clouds. No clouds whatsoever. Not even a single streak of cloud. That is what we get sometimes. Nonetheless, it was a gorgeous sunset. Well, a bit of hazy one, thanks to the wall of marine layer over the horizon that had lingered all day. Catalina Island was even barely seen. On a clear day, it would look like it is just right by the beach. I wanted to capture the sunset glow cast on the bluff walls and the rocks in the beach as much as the rocks in the water. Mostly diffused. Once again, the haze. The silhouette of the bluffs in the far distance in Rancho Palos Verdes looked quite mystical as the haze never lifted. I loved that separation over the rock shore.
