Location
This image was taken at Waldweid near Waldenburg in Switzerland.Time
This was taken just after sunrise. I was out scouting for new locations which I like to do pre-dawn as I love the light at this time of day.Lighting
The lighting is all natural. I was fortunate to also have a light mist rolling over the fields to help with the light.Equipment
It was shot with a Sony A7 mk2, with a 16-35mm lens at f/4. A tripod was used for a 30 sec exposure.Inspiration
The inspiration for this shot came from the moment. It was the combination of the location, rising sun, clouds and light mist rolling across the fields.Editing
Other than the obvious crop to a 1:1 format, there was very little post-processing done in Lightroom. Some vignetting was added and the shadows were slightly reduced. In my camera bag
Apart from the camera, I always have a wide angle and a zoom lens with me On this day it was a 16-35mm and a 70-200mm. I also rarely go anywhere with out a tripod.Feedback
The best advice is simply to get outside. Pre-dawn is one of my favourite times to take picture, but it does involve early morning starts.
