This was taken at one of the fountains in Klyde Warren Park, in downtown Dallas. It's need park with fields, fountains, dog parks, food trucks, etc.Time
This was shot around noon on a warm March day. I was recovering from surgery and needed to get out and walk, the park seemed like the perfect place.Lighting
It was a partly cloudy day with the sun almost directly overhead. I was just out for exercise, I didn't have a lot of equipment with me so this was just a handheld candid shot, there isn't much to say about lightingEquipment
This was shot hand-held with a Canon 70D and Tamron 16-300mm lens. I was too far away for a flash to do much good.Inspiration
Exercise mostly! The service dog in training was a cutie though, I couldn't resist taking a shot of him enjoying the fountain.Editing
I just played with the colors a bit in Lightroom, nothing major was done to the shotIn my camera bag
I normally carry a Canon 70D with a Tamron 16/300mm mounted and a 5D Mk III with any number of lenses ranging from a 8mm diagonal fisheye to a Sigma 200-500mm telephoto, depending on what I'll be shooting. I'm usually looking for cool things at random while traveling, so I don't get to plan a lot of shots beforehand - I've found I spend the most time with various prime lenses and the 17-300mm Tamron though, the Tamron's range lets you capture almost anything on the fly and reduces the need for lens changes out in the openFeedback
This was just a candid shot taking while on a walk, I didn't plan or set up anything so there's not a lot of pointers to give.
