Location
The image is taken on the frozen marsh just outside Naestved Denmark.Time
Late afternoon, we had snowfall a few days in a row and when we finally got some decent weather I grabbed my drone and headed out to the lottle pond.Lighting
Nothing special about the lightning, just natural light.Equipment
The image is shot with a Phantom 3 Professionel.Inspiration
I hike this location almost once a week, and I know this pond is frequently visited by the wildlife to drink water. I hoped to see annimal tracks leading to the watering hole but did not expect a pattern like this.Editing
I always shoot in Auto exposure bracketing "AEB" an captures 5 images with 0.7 F-stop between, then in Photoshp I stack the images to a 32bit HDR to get more image debth and details to work with.In my camera bag
When I go on drone trips like this one I just bring my drone, with extra batteries a few ND and circular polarisation filters.Feedback
If I should give any advice to take drone photos like this one, is Plan your trip down to the smallest details use Google maps to find locations so you know what to look for whan you arrive on location.
