Only two days after losing our little 15-year-old friend, Dante, 18-year-old Harley decided today that it was his time, too. Our hearts are broken, but we know these wonderful little companions are together, free of pain and suffering. Thank you, Harley, for being such a vibrant part of our lives. RIP as you cross the Rainbow Bridge together with Dante. 2-20-17

Oh my goodness, it is so hard when we loose our animal Family. They give us so much unconditional love, an it leaves a hole in our hearts?

Oh my goodness Nina - this is truly heartbreaking. I can't imagine loosing them so close together - but maybe Harley was missing Dante. Perhaps Dante was keeping Harley 'going'. I've seen that happen with other peoples' dogs before. At least they are happy playing where there is no pain or suffering - it is just us who are left behind to miss the beautiful moments they gave us and most importantly their presence in our lives. They teach us all about Life and Love and Pure Innocence of Thought and Deed - loaned to us for a short time to try to help us live better lives.
