Came across an elderly man hand feeding Butcher birds and we got talking, so he took us to see a family of Curlews he saved from the local council who were going to bulldoze their home. They are almost fully raised and sadly the council will bulldoze the area, but they can move on to just down the road. This area is right beside the beach on the busy Gold Coast.
