Eddie was a very old Jack Russell Terrier, who was losing his hearing and sight. Slim was a feral cat that lives on my daughters property in Red Bluff Ca, and is fed by them, but not allowed in the house. Whenever Eddie was outside, Slim would run up to him and nuzzle against him. I was out with Eddie and my camera and they were both following me, when I turned and captured this buddy moment.

So cute a lot of people has said cats & dogs hates each other but I had a lot of cats and two dogs and they all love each other so I believe people is wrong about that so good picture :)

This is my Winner for the challenge! I've had both a Jack Russell baby who passed early this year at 16, and a ginger cat, many years ago, so I'm biased, in the best possible way. Superb presentation! :))

Thank you all for the kind words. This photo seems to really resonate with people who have had Jack Russell's and or ginger cats. Over the years I have received many emotional messages. These were my step daughters animals. Slim the cat was feral. Eddie was old and would follow me around when I would visit. If Eddie and I stepped outside Slim would come running over to Eddie and follow along as we walked. I was quite attached to both of them and marveled at how close they were.
