The local high school enterprise group were creating objects to sell made from shells, stones, driftwood and other stuff found on the coast. We did a few shots then decided to move everything down to the water's edge. This was the middle of November, in Scotland so the water was not warm. A few shots were wasted with people suddenly screaming at the cold water lapping around the ankles, but they quickly got into it. I placed an off camera flash under the lampshade to create the light coming from there, with the main light coming from off to the right. It was a dull and overcast day so this was the only way to create a bit of texture with the light.
