I was in NYC in 2018 and the Flatiron was something like I’ve never seen, but this capture makes it even more intriguing!! Wow!!

Location
We were on a bus tour of New York to see the city as we had never been before, so on a cold November day took this as we passed by the building.Time
I think it was around 1pm.Lighting
I cannot say much about the lighting as it was taken as you see ,it was a very cold partly cloudy day which made the building look a bit more dramatic.Equipment
I have a Nikon D7200 with it's standard lens 18/140mm.Inspiration
Had never been too the Big Apple before so in the 8 days we were there we tried to see and do as much as we possibly could, so on the bus tour it took us right by the Flatiron and as we approached got my camera ready and took a few Photos on the way past. I love old architecture and and how it was built all those years ago and this building was one I was looking forward to seeing as it is such an Icon.Editing
I had taken about 5 Photos of the building on the way past and this was the one I liked the most, originally taken in colour I cropped the photo as I wanted the street below out of the shot and when I seen it in B&W that was when it made it look so dramatic. In my camera bag
I have a Nikon D7200, flash, a Macro 105mm lens a pair of binoculars and a tripod for when I am out and about, but not all that on holiday :-))Feedback
The beauty of digital photography is you can take as many photos as you want and the hope is you will get at least one you will think WOW. There is so much that goes on around you all the time, sometimes it can be right time and place and you capture something that you were not expecting, then there are the times where you have to take your time and wait for something. When I am planning on taking a photo I like to look see what the best angle is , shape, colours or something unusual. It is a big beautiful world out open your eyes and look at it's wonder.
