It was taken down at a the beach on the west coast of Scotland where I live.Time
It was taken on a beautiful summers night just as the sun was setting if I remember it was around 7.30 at night.Lighting
It was all natural sunlight the sun was getting more of a deeper orange colour as it was settingEquipment
At that time I was using a Panasonic GH1 with a 14/140mm standard lensed took it by hand I had not purchased a tripod at that time.Inspiration
I love all kinds of photography but especially where colour is involved we have such an amazing beautiful planet and when we had decided to go down to the beach this night the sun setting was gorgeous and in the right place at the right time managed to capture this.Editing
No the photo is as was taken I was so pleased with it when I saw it and decided to leave it as it was.In my camera bag
I now have a Nikon D7200 with a 14/140mm lens and a macro 50mm lens, flash gun, tripod.Feedback
Being near to a coastline anywhere in the world will give you some dramatic photos just decide if it is a sunrise you will get or sunset and get down and wait for the magic to happen, again it will be weather permitting you are looking for the sun to create these beautiful colours.
