Illuminated in exquisite orange
After setting up a camp and having an early supper, I took a short hike up Tokopah Trail, which was located right by Lodgepole Campground where we were spending the next two nights. Along this moderately inclining trail, the lovely Marble Fork Kaweah River accompanied me. Definitely the water was a bit low as we were already far into mid-August by then. I didn’t hike too far into the woods as it was getting dark. The sunset was gorgeous and the glow illuminated every surface on which it touched in the exquisite orange. The word enchanted came to mind.
