Watching the exquisitely glowing Divide at sunset
One of the most anticipated backpacking trips of the year happened, and it was backpacking High Sierra Trail in Sequoia National Park. I am very proud that it was a full 9 days-8 nights excursion in the wilderness, with no resupplies. We arrived at Bearpaw Campground after a long day of hiking through the amazing western part of the Great Continental Divide in Sequoia. After a quick supper, we enjoyed ourselves at this edge of the slabs of rocks watching this exquisitely glowing Divide, accompanied by a few puffs of clouds, equally glowing in beautiful orange. It became one of the unforgettable highlights of the trip.
