Sometimes where a road leads is not as important as the motion of body and mind, traversing the step by step.

You cannot take the first of a path, knowing which termination and think more of it than the journey. The end of even an afternoon is not so desirable as the moments you spend in between.

The road less taken may be a popular thought, but your own soul picks what inward trail you follow, regardless of the myriads of other feet and their motion. The steps rise to meet you, while the path behind fades away. You will never pass this way again, though you might assume to walk this way, deja vu is never complete. There is no clone of the soul. Only the days of your life. Live them for they all pass into the mists of yesterday.
