I wanted badly to visit this world famous site, and the day I picked followed a druid ceremony! The park officials told me I was lucky! The druids had staged some kind of orgy in the circle and had to be kicked out! Most were drunk and a fleet of police had to be summoned. Stonehenge is not near any town. You can imagine the mayhem! There weren't a hundred people the day I arrived.
