So many times when I shoot now, the objects I find resolve from isolated subjects to thematic bits collecting for a whole...

A tunnel through brush, a specific flower, an old tractor, the floor of a forest.

The last three years, I've been both alone, and alongside people who also suffer. The few things which can be said about suffering are all hard bought and permanent. Many things are black and white which formerly were filled with happy color. Things of isolation and strength, where once we did not worry about tomorrow and laughed about yesterday.

Moments often slither by, missed opportunities, but if we spend our strength holding each one, we could miss the most important ones of all. Family. Faith, wonder. We cannot percieve life as some do with curses and and depression, but some of us let the morass of negativity encapsulated and swallow the expression of praise and thanks, within the mud of angst and "my give a damn is busted".
