Taken at 4 pm, on our way back to the city. This light and tone appeared within the view in front of us. I stopped the car and went to capture the magnificent view.Lighting
The night was slowly coming and we were at the beginning of the blue hour.Equipment
I had my old trusty Nikon D800 with a 70-200 mm zoom. The photo is shot at f2.8Inspiration

Very little post-processing. A little cropping only.In my camera bag
I currently have either or both of Nikon D810 and D500, two or three zoom lenses (24-70 mm f2.8, 70-200 f2.8, or a 16-80 mm for the D500), and a couple of prime lenses such a the Sigma 24 mm f1.4, or a Nikkor 85 mm f1.4. I often take my photos at the largest possible aperture as I like to play with the depth of field, particularly with photos of people.Feedback
Look around, move around, and be at the right spot at the right time. In such case, it is actually fairly easy to plan. A touch of luck never hurts!
