What a fantastic PoV! The colours and textures in this image are wonderful. I love it that you chose to situate the bench off-centre - that adds interest - and the ambiguity of surfaces. Is that water in the bottom right? Is the bench right at the edge of some overgrown pond? There is so much in this picture that works, Anne. This is real art!

Great use of negative space. I like the quote by Muir as well...without people with his insight our environment would most likely be all concrete and asphalt. Beautiful work.
