One of my most beautiful friends got married this weekend. It was perfect. Her bridesmaids were equally stunning, and all reflections of the warmth and love that Sarah puts into the world. They said their I Do's on one of the hottest days of the year, and we took photos at many times during the day, to give us all breaks inside in the air conditioning. When I saw the light changing I knew it was time to do their formal portraits, just the three of us. Sarah really wanted the water tower, which just *screams* the location of the venue, and when she saw the sunflowers I knew this was The Spot for her water tower shot. I want to have this printed on wood as a gift to them.

Beautiful bride and groom but the tower is distracting. Close up would look better.

Funny story - the bride wanted it in the shot! I have several of them close-up without the water tower, but the tower is a strong identifier of the location of their wedding. Sort of iconic to the farm-turned-hotel. :)

Great shot! And I'll bet one of the favorites of the bride. Is this in Oregon? Sauvie Island?
