Grand Jury Winner

"This is a fabulous event shot. Sharp, well-lit, and catching the singing expression just at the right moment. If there was a question about whether this is look-alike or the real thing, the bokeh logo in the back brings authenticity. The backlight over the shoulder adds to the live concert feel without overpowering the image. Well done!" - Dave Bell

Runner Up

"A great band action shot. Everyone (except the drummer) frozen in mid-air. Loudly colorful and grungily processed, which, I imagine, matched the volume and feel of being at the concert. The empty space on the stage emphasizes the height of the enthusiasm above it." - Dave Bell

Runner Up

"This image is filled with joy. I can hear the roar of the friends and family as the confetti cannons shoot out their payload. Bride and groom coming out to the world for the first time as man and wife. Vignetting at lower left and right help to focus toward the upper part of the image where the action is happening." - Dave Bell

Runner Up

"A wonderfully surrealistic black-and-white image. It emphasizes the hardness of the genre being played. Even with the strong backlights the woman is well-lit and balanced with defining shadows. The pointing pose suggests the excited audience. Rule-of-thirds used nicely for the subject." - Dave Bell
