This image was from the last night just in front of our camping spot. I had about 3 hours between sunset and moon rise, so I went ahead and took advantage to setup a series of 5 minute exposures to put together this star trail image with the South Sister in the foreground. While it's sometimes a bummer that there isn't more complexity in the skies when high pressure and clear nights dominate, I'm happy to try some other techniques during those times and get some amazing night sky views. I'm happy with the results of this one.
