As the sun gave color to the horizon I began feeling the sense of indiscernible forest fade around me. Shadows deepened as they wrestled with the changing light and the warmth of the rising sun wrestled with the cool of the fleeting night. I imagine it in cinematic fashion as I write. The forest enveloping me was in a moment of change; the magic that enchants a forest at night was quickly, quietly, beautifully, evaporating with the rising sun.
