Behind The Lens

Location

I have my own garden in my back yard of cool and beautiful flowers. One morning it was raining and it soon stopped and I didn't have my camera so I grabbed my iPhone and took this photo with it!

Time

I would say it was about 2:00 PM when I went outside and the sun was shining bright. I quickly grabbed my iPhone and went to go check out my flowers and see if I could grab an amazing photo with water drops on it.

Lighting

I wanted this photo to focus on the water drops so I made sure that the sun was out and shining bright before I took it. I personally love photos of flowers with rain drops on them and if you want to take photos like that I would recommend waiting out a little rain shower and hope the sun comes out after!

Equipment

I shot this with my iPhone 6, focal length 83/20.

Inspiration

I always would see these amazing photos of beautiful flowers and was too scared to try it myself because I didn't believe in myself. One day I just went out and took this photo because there is no harm in trying something new. This photo has gotten a lot of positive feed back and I'm am glad I went through with using it and taking it!

Editing

No

In my camera bag

this is what I carry around, Nikon - D3300 DSLR Camera with 18-55mm and 55-200mm VR II Lenses

Feedback

Nature is everywhere! Go out and explore your area and have a good time you don't always have to be looking for the best shot just go and enjoy the scenery. Don't be afraid to ask neighbors to capture their photos if you like them!
