We have all of the love letters from my father to my mother, written while he was fighting in Europe during WWII. This is a tribute to them and to their eternal love for one another.
Special thanks to Gail and Melissa, who have inspired and shared their knowledge with me, and to all of you who have been so supportive and generous. For me photography is not a competition, but a passion to be shared with those who also love it. It is an ongoing learning process, no matter how many years you have done it; and I am grateful for all of you wonderful teachers!

I love this...everything bout it and the reasoning for it. I completely agree about photography is a passion and not a competition. Some think it is and will do everything to make it that way...I dont see passion in them ...I just see competition. and thats why I shoot with my SOUL, and keep being ME. シ

How wonderful that you embraced these letters that told the story of your Father's eternal Love for your Mother - letters that perhaps she counted on - surviving by Faith and maybe 'one letter at a time' during his absence. The very fact that these letters are so important to you speaks to me of admiration for the husband and Father he was. These personality traits that get passed on to us daughters and encourage us as we look for that 'special someone'. If we are fortunate - we do indeed find that 'soul mate' we were meant to spend our lives with. We can never imagine the emotions and personal sacrifices your Father endured during WWll - but your composition, so seamlessly blended with textures and passionate colours is also woven with these words of enduring Love that truly speaks to my heart. I too am grateful to you for the knowledge you haves shared with me. To be able to uplift, encourage, inspire and nourish each other as we enjoy this Journey is an amazing experience - how great is it if we meet some fantastic people along the way who want nothing more than to come together as a 'strong threads' in this 'Quilt' we call Life'. A Community of Photographers 'anxious' to share their knowledge and quite often, the 'excitement' when discovering new methods of enriching our Knowledge of Camera and Processing Skills. It does not take a 'village' to make us who we are - just open minds and hearts with one purpose at the forefront. Thanks for being such an inspiration to me and for also sharing you wealth of knowledge acquired during your Photographic Journey!!!
