I have this very tiny rufous who sits out front all day long and guards the one small feeder out there. He is absolutely relentless! I don't know when he eats. Once he discovered that I would sit in the front door and wait for him, he started perching in our yucca, looking ridiculously tiny among its spikes. He is at the feeder, though, before I even see him move!

Wish we had Rufous here! Broadtailed and Calliope is about it except for occasional Blackchined Hummer! I guess the Ruflus does migrate thru the western slope of Colorado!
